SPACE DREAM

In a childhood day, November, dark blue sky, which invited me to image infinite space, to inspire me awe into depth of space and...adventure to the atmosphere outside.

News came from USA, a satellite was on orbit... and more, an American was in there, impressed me miracle and mighty.

When astronomical observation became the hobby and began to have admiration for space development, watching a satellite relay of Apollo 8, 

the aim of the life was flashed to me as to become an Astronaut. 

 

In 1983, there was a man engaged earnestly in a position and success in  the company....Then, that had occurred.

He had an impact which changes his life, that of, NASDA(current JAXA) has advertised astronaut candidates, it was also affected Japan’s society so much just as ScienceFiction had realized!

Then, his childhood day dream had revived and his life has started again to realize the Dream, to reach to Space.

 

Two years later, once, it had seemed, his chance had came easily by a fateful encounter of the book “HINOMARU manned satellite launch viecle, let’s challenge!”

Sooner, he called an author,Wataru Wakai, space journalist. Then, Wataru gladly agreed him to permit to board as a crew.

If SpaceShattle "Challenger" terrible disaster would not have happened in Jan 1986, the project might be realized!

 

The state that he did not want to think about space continued for a while.

After that, he had encounter with his future wife and got merried in ‘88. 

More, he'd applicated to NASDA astronaut in 1991 and passed carrier inspection.

 

Even though, it is very difficult to be chosen as JAXA astronaut or HINOMARU manned satellite project failed, but he could not give up space.

He have been done to image and study how to approach to space.

At last, the Space has become like the other lover can not give up for him...
